Wow, that was quick!

I'm not even a handful of posts into this and I have a win.  Sure is a good feeling to get something so soon! 

Remember, I knew going in that this giveaway was ending in a matter of hours.  I received the notification email not too long after I was done tweeting, posting, commenting, and blogging about it! 

This one was picked at random with all the incremental comment numbers being the possible winning number.  Random numbers and odds will be a future topic here on PrizeCore, so keep an eye out for that!

The moral of the story:

Things can move very quickly in the giveaway world.  Pay attention to timeframes and deadlines.  Don't find yourself signing up and spending time on an expired giveaway.  Some contests are open for days, some for weeks.  Also, make sure you read those rules to know if you can retweet or other daily entry possibilities.  This one was won on my last entry...a bonus entry stating that I had posted about it on facebook.  This was after I had tweeted about it, subscribed to her email list, blogged about it, and commented on my dream nursery.  So with blogging counting as two entries (according to her rules), I had 5 entries out of 59.  Not too bad!  Not all giveaways will be as easy as this one, though.  What drew me to it was the fact that it was ending soon and there weren't too many people entering.  Pay attention to possible advantages!
